Your children will have a great time in Scouting. And so can you!
Our volunteers say being involved in Scouting gives them enjoyment, a sense of personal achievement, and makes them feel like they are making a difference in their local community. It helps to develop our skills, meet new people, and supports our physical and mental health.
There are lots of ways you can get involved:
- help out once a month at your child’s section or help out at a camp
- join the group team in delivering our activities more regularly as an assistant, leader or skills instructor
- help with things like fundraising or maintaining equipment
- become a trustee or administrator
Our volunteers come from all backgrounds, bringing their own experiences and skills to the team – we work together to deliver the best experiences we can with the time we have available.
